Located in Harris County, Ellerslie Place is a 5 Phase development located within Ellerslie and Waverly Hall.

It is believed the community was named for Captain Ellerslie in Sir Walter Scott's Waverly Novel. The community is just off of the old "Wire Road" now know as Georgia State Route 315.
